About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vines grow at approximately 400 m above sea level on marl and galestro soils. They are trained using the spurred-cordon system.
Grapes
100% Sangiovese.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks, followed by 20–30 days of skin maceration.
Ageing
Approximately 48 months in Slavonian and French oak casks with an average capacity of around 30 hl.
