About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The vineyards lie on the hills of Maremma, in southern Tuscany, at 100–300 metres above sea level. The soils are sandy and alluvial, which give the wine a light, clean taste.

Grapes

Vermentino with a small amount of Sauvignon Blanc.

Vinification

The grapes are handled gently and fermented cool to preserve the fresh aromas.

Ageing

The wine spends 3 months on the fine lees, which adds softness and a silky texture. It is best drunk young, within 2 years of the harvest.

Tasting profile

Light and sunny in character, with a fresh coastal feel and generous fruit. The taste is light and clean, and the texture soft and silky. The style is clear, airy and naturally inviting, reflecting the Tuscan coast.
