About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in the company’s vineyards in Tuscany, at 150 m above sea level. The soils are sandy and silty, and the vines are between six and ten years old.
Vinification
Harvest usually begins in late August. The grapes are pressed under an inert atmosphere, and the must ferments at a controlled temperature not exceeding 16 °C. Malolactic fermentation is prevented.
Ageing
The wine rests in steel tanks for three months. Bottling begins in January.
