About this wine
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and selected with care. Alcoholic fermentation and maceration take place in 5,000-litre solid-wood vats at a controlled 26–28 °C, lasting at least 22–25 days.
Ageing
After fermentation the wine ages for 24 months in 500-litre French wooden barrels, which build structure and flavour and soften the tannins. After bottling it matures for at least 12 months.
Tasting profile
Bright and fresh, with a harmonious balance and an elegant structure. The colour is deep and rich. The palate is fresh and lively, with a savoury finish marked by citrus notes. Sweet licorice gives it a distinctive character.
