About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the Zuc vineyard, at the top of a hill in the Togliano subregion. Its growing conditions are influenced by sea breezes and the surrounding mountains.
Grapes
The blend comprises 60% Chardonnay and 40% Ribolla Gialla.
Vinification
The grapes are pressed and the must is fermented. No oak barrels are used.
Ageing
The wine rests on its lees for two years in neutral vessels.
Label / history
Zuc di Volpe means “hilltop.” It has been part of the Volpe Pasini range since 1990, with around 7,000 bottles produced annually.
