The fruit comes from the single Zuc vineyard, which is used for this range only in the best years.
Grapes
The Cabernet vines were imported from France.
Vinification
Harvest begins in late September. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine is aged in oak barrels.
Tasting profile
When young, the wine ranges from red to dark red. With age, it develops richer ruby and deep burgundy tones, while its aromas and flavours become more evolved. It is rich, with herbal notes, and becomes more developed and elegant over time.
Label / history
“Zuc di Volpe” means “top of the hill.” The Zuc di Volpe range was first produced in 1990.
