Vineyard and terroir
The Asti DOCG growing area extends over the hills south of the city of Asti, covering around 50 municipalities from east to west.
Vinification
The grapes are generally harvested between August and mid-September. The wine is produced by the Charmat method, with secondary fermentation in sealed pressure tanks, where the base wine takes on carbon dioxide.
