Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the Ronchi geographical mention in the municipality of Barbaresco. The vineyards face east to south-east and were planted between 1950 and 1980.

Ageing
The wine matures for about 24 months in oak casks, followed by approximately 24 months of refinement in bottle.
Tasting profile
The Riserva is selected in the cellar from separate lots of Barbaresco produced in Ronchi. It is made only in the best vintages, when a lot demonstrates particularly substantial structure and an innate capacity to develop over time in bottle.
Label / history
The wine begins as Barbaresco Ronchi and becomes the Riserva through a careful cellar selection reserved for the finest vintages.
