Vineyard and terroir
Gepin is made from Barbera grown in the estate’s oldest vineyards, situated within the Ronchi and Cottà geographic mentions on the hills of Barbaresco and Neive. The vineyards face from east to south-west. Their marly soils are predominantly limestone, and the vines were planted between 1950 and 1974.

100% Barbera.
Ageing
The wine matures for about 12 months in oak casks, followed by a few months of refinement in bottle.
Tasting profile
A Barbera d’Alba Superiore characterized by intense complexity and decisive longevity.
Label / history
The name Gepin belonged to the former owner of parcels in Ronchi and Cottà.
