Questo vino

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes come from vineyards in Magrè, Cortaccia, Termeno and the Isarco Valley, spanning elevations from 250 to 750 metres above sea level. The soils are sandy and gravelly, with loam in some sites.

Grapes

Gewürztraminer. The style seeks to balance the variety’s characteristic aromatic richness with juiciness and drinkability.

Vinification

Temperature-controlled fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks.

Ageing

The wine matures on its lees for approximately four months in stainless-steel tanks.

Technical data

Latest presented vintage: 2024. Alcohol: 13.0% vol.

Tasting profile

Brilliant straw yellow. The pronounced yet fresh aroma combines ripe yellow fruit—particularly mirabelle plum and apricot—with delicate exotic spices. Medium- to full-bodied and dry, the palate is juicy, markedly mineral and persistent.

Serving and pairing

Suitable as an aperitif or after dinner, as well as with richly flavoured starters, sausages, pâtés, terrines, grilled fish, shellfish, Asian dishes and cheeses. Best enjoyed within one to two years.
