Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from selected vineyards in Salorno, Magrè, Cortaccia, Pochi and Tesimo in the southern part of Alto Adige, at elevations of 300–500 m. The soils are sandy and gravelly, with a high proportion of limestone. Pinot Bianco has been grown in Alto Adige since the mid-19th century and is now one of the region’s leading white varieties.
