Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the Vogelmaier estate vineyard near Lake Caldaro, at 300–400 metres above sea level. The soils are sandy and gravelly, with some loam.
Grapes
Moscato Giallo, vinified dry.
Vinification
The wine is fermented under temperature control in stainless-steel tanks. A portion undergoes whole-cluster fermentation and vinification.
Ageing
Maturation takes place on the lees in stainless-steel tanks for approximately six months.
Technical data
2024 vintage. Alcohol: 11.5% vol.
Tasting profile
Bright yellow with a green shimmer. The highly aromatic bouquet is floral and spicy, with ripe white-peach notes. The palate is medium-bodied, intense and balanced, combining grapey fruit with freshness and a dry, juicy, persistent finish.
Serving and pairing
Suitable as an aperitif or with flavourful starters such as sausages, pâtés and terrines, grilled fish—especially tuna—and white meat. Best enjoyed within 1–4 years.
