Vineyard and terroir

The grapes come from Magrè and Salorno, spanning elevations from 210 to 740 metres. The soils are stony and sandy, with a very high limestone content.

Grapes

Pinot Grigio.

Vinification

PORER is assembled from components handled in different ways to preserve freshness. Some grapes are pressed immediately; others receive short skin contact, extended lees contact or whole-cluster vinification. Fermentation is spontaneous and takes place partly in large casks and partly in stainless-steel tanks.

Ageing

The wine matures on its lees for approximately nine months, divided between large casks and stainless-steel tanks.

Technical data

The 2024 vintage has 12.0% alcohol by volume.

Tasting profile

Straw yellow with reddish highlights. The pronounced, lightly aromatic nose combines melon and peach with spicy and mineral accents. The palate is rich, lively, fresh, fruity and dry.

Serving and pairing

Best enjoyed two to six years from the vintage. Pair with starters, pâtés and terrines, cold meats, fish and seafood, white meats or poultry.
