Vineyard and terroir
The estate vineyards have various exposures at 100–150 m, with sandstone and alberese limestone soils. The vines were planted in 1975, 1980 and 2013. Density is 3,300 vines/ha in older plantings and 5,000 vines/ha in newer ones. The training system is Guyot, viticulture is certified organic and average yield is 40–50 hl/ha.
Grapes
90% Trebbiano and 10% Vermentino.
Vinification
The fruit undergoes cold skin contact, followed by temperature-controlled fermentation at 16°C.
Ageing
Maturation takes place in steel.
Technical data
Average production is 8,000 bottles annually. The technical sheet specifies 0.75 L bottles, while the English wine page gives 0.375 L.
