Vineyard and terroir
The Vermentino comes from the Santa Cristina in Pilli cru. The vines were planted in 2013 at elevations between 100 and 150 metres, across various exposures. They grow on limestone soil locally known as alberese. Planting density is 5,000 vines per hectare, with Guyot training and certified-organic viticulture. Average yield is 40–50 hectolitres per hectare.

100% Vermentino.
Vinification
The wine is vinified in stainless steel. Fermentation takes place under temperature control at 17°C.
Ageing
Maturation takes place in stainless steel.
Technical data
Average annual production is 1,300 bottles in the 0.75-litre format.
Serving and pairing
Suitable as an aperitif and with hors d’oeuvres. Suggested dishes include pasta or rice with fish or white-meat sauces, fish main courses, white meat and poultry.
Label / history
The inaugural 2023 wine was produced from Vermentino vines planted in 2013. Its name refers to “L’Aldino,” a small snake encountered in the vineyards.
