Vineyard and terroir
Bellenda’s hillside vineyards have clay and limestone soils of varying depth, overlaid with glacial deposits rich in organic matter. The climate is temperate, with cold winters and hot, dry summers. Marked day–night temperature differences help the grapes retain acidity and develop a broad range of aromas.
Vinification
After harvest, the grapes undergo traditional fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks, followed by secondary fermentation in steel vats.
