Storia
1997\nThe friendship between Stefano Inama, owner of Inama, and Sabatino di Properzio, owner of Fattoria La Valentina, began, together with a shared passion for Abruzzo, a region they described as "strong and kind," beautiful but not widely visited. The two decided to make a great Montepulciano d'Abruzzo together: rich yet modern, with plenty of character and ripe tannins, ready to open and enjoy right away.\n\n### Development\nOver two years the pair developed the Binomio project — a name meaning "two names," reflecting their partnership — and chose an old 4.2-hectare vineyard in the heart of Abruzzo, on the edge of Majella National Park, planted in the 1970s. They drew up a plan for improving the vines and worked out how the wine would be made.\n\n### 2000\nThe first vintage of Binomio was released.\n\n### Since 2000\nBinomio has continued to move forward humbly, year after year, becoming a benchmark for the region's finest wines.
