The grapes are grown in Abruzzo.
Vinification
Harvest takes place from late September to early October. Traditional red-wine vinification includes fermentation for at least 10–12 days at a controlled temperature not exceeding 25–27 °C.
Ageing
The wine matures for at least 12 months in wooden barrels, followed by 12 months in stainless-steel tanks.
