Vineyard and terroir
The Nebbiolo grows in Piedmont on west-facing vines planted in 2001. The soils are marl and clay with some limestone.
Vinification
The grapes are traditionally harvested in early October and undergo a short maceration. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature, followed by malolactic fermentation in oak barrels.
Ageing
The wine matures for around 12 months in large oak barrels.
Tasting profile
The aroma is inviting, while the palate is warm, harmonious and balanced.
