Label / history
The back label relates the history of the part of Orvieto dominated by Palazzo dei Sette. Its name recalls the seven medieval consuls who represented the city’s principal arts, guilds and trades. The building later belonged to the Papacy, served as the residence of Antonio da Sangallo and housed the governor during Orvieto’s period as an important commune. It now hosts exhibitions, conferences and events.
