Tasting profile
Bright straw yellow with youthful reflections. The broad yet delicate aromatic profile brings together acacia blossom, aromatic herbs and apricot. The palate closely follows the nose, with balanced fruit and floral impressions lifted by a fresh, savoury note.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 8–9 °C. Pair with spaghetti and clams, shellfish, vegetarian pizzas or white meats.
Label / history
Orvieto is presented through its close identification with its city of origin. The city’s emblem is its cathedral, begun in 1290 after Pope Nicholas IV laid the first stone and completed in the mid-16th century. It was erected to commemorate the Miracle of Corpus Christi of 1263.
