Tasting profile
Ruby red with fairly intense purple reflections. The rich bouquet combines blueberry and cherry with subtle vanilla nuances. Enveloping, soft and velvety on the palate, with good persistence.

Serve at 14–16 °C with grilled meats, oven-roasted lamb or spit-roasted feathered game.
Label / history
The wine’s presentation refers to Orvieto’s Torre del Moro, situated at the meeting point of the city’s four quarters. Formerly called Torre del Papa, it was renamed for Raffaele di Sante, known as il Moro. An inscription at the tower’s base on Via della Costituente reproduces lines from Dante’s Divine Comedy concerning the medieval rivalry between Orvieto’s Monaldeschi and Filippeschi families.
