Label / history
The wine’s presentation refers to Orvieto’s Torre del Moro. In 1515, Pope Leo X transferred Palazzo dei Sette and the tower—until then known as Torre del Papa—to the Municipality of Orvieto. The 47-metre tower overlooks the city and carries two bronze bells: one from the Torre di Sant’Andrea and another from Palazzo del Popolo, decorated with the Orsini bear, the symbols of the 25 guilds and the Seal of the People.
