Vineyard and terroir
The Nebbiolo grows in the Rivetti vineyard in the Langhe. Limestone and clay soils contribute structure and aromatic finesse. Warm, sunny days allow full ripening, while cool nights preserve acidity and aromatic precision.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand, then fermented with skin maceration to develop tannins and aromatic depth.
Ageing
The wine matures in large oak casks, mainly Slavonian oak. This softens the tannins without introducing overt woody flavours.
Tasting profile
Deep, structured and layered, with elegant restraint and a contemplative character. When young, it is firm and taut, with dry, dusty tannins and pronounced acidity. With time, the tannins become rounder, and aromas of spice, resin, dried herbs and leather emerge as the wine grows more complex and expressive.
