Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the Coste delle Plaie vineyard at 320 m above sea level. Vines are trained on horizontal and vertical trellis systems, with a yield of 10 t/ha. Harvest is carried out by hand in September.
Ageing
The wine matures sur lie for four months in old oak barrels.

Alcohol: 13% vol.
Tasting profile
Onion-skin pink. Aromas of red fruit are accompanied by spicy notes. The palate is fruity and persistent, with hints of chocolate.
Serving and pairing
Recommended with baked or boiled fish and white meats.
