Vineyard and terroir
The Selezione “A Diletta” is produced from Vigna Diletta, a 2-hectare vineyard named after Giovanna’s daughter. Planted in 2005, it occupies a south-facing site at approximately 300 m above sea level. Its silty-sandy soil contains calcareous components. The vines are Guyot trained and cultivated under the estate’s certified organic regime.
The vineyard forms part of the estate’s natural amphitheatre overlooking the Asso Valley. Pronounced summer temperature shifts characterize its microclimate.
