Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the Roncaglie vineyard in Barbaresco. Its varied soils contribute to the wine’s complex, layered profile.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand, destemmed and pressed. Traditional maceration lasts 12–15 days, extracting tannins and aromatic compounds. Malolactic fermentation follows, softening the acidity.
Ageing
The wine matures in oak barrels for 14 months, followed by a further 60 months in bottle. This softens the structure and develops greater aromatic depth.
Tasting profile
Intense, refined and deep in character, with aromas and flavours of dried flowers, spices, dark berries and ripe fruit. The structure is elegant, with velvety tannins, balancing Nebbiolo’s power and natural elegance.
Serving and pairing
Pair with red meat dishes or mature cheeses.
Label / history
Produced only in the best years, the wine is named after winemaker Beppe Colla, whose traditions are maintained by his family.
