Vineyard and terroir

The fruit comes from the Bussia Dardi le Rose vineyard, whose soils are composed of limestone and clay.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand, then destemmed and pressed. The must undergoes a traditional maceration lasting 12–15 days, followed by malolactic fermentation.

Ageing

The wine matures in oak barrels for 24–28 months and then ages in bottle for a further 42 months. This extended maturation softens its structure and develops greater aromatic depth.

Tasting profile

The nose combines dried flowers, spices and ripe red fruit. Powerful yet refined, the palate has soft, mature tannins and balances Nebbiolo’s power with elegance. Liquorice, spice and mature fruit lead into a long, layered finish.

Serving and pairing

Pair with meat and game dishes.

Label / history

Named after winemaker Beppe Colla, the wine preserves traditions continued and developed by his family. It is produced only in the best years.
