Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The Merlot grows in the province of Treviso, 40 metres above sea level, on slightly calcareous soil. The area's geographical position gives highly favourable conditions for growing almost any grape variety.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in late September. They are crushed and fermented on the skins for 6–8 days at a controlled temperature. When fermentation ends, the must is pressed to separate the wine from the skins.
Ageing
The wine ages in stainless steel tanks for at least one year. After bottling it matures for several more months in a temperature-controlled cellar.
Tasting profile
Fresh, lively and very enjoyable.
