Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the youngest vines in the La Mannella area, planted in 2011 on stony soils at an altitude of 350 metres. The site is in one of the coolest parts of the Montalcino appellation.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and vinified traditionally in temperature-controlled steel tanks.

The wine matures for six months in large 30 hL Slavonian oak casks. After bottling, it rests in the winery’s cellars for at least another three months. The 2019 vintage was expected to reach peak maturity between 2021 and 2025.
