Vineyard and terroir
The Nebbiolo comes from vineyards in the municipality of La Morra. The soils are calcareous and sandy, and planting density is 4,800 vines per hectare.
Grapes
100% Nebbiolo.
Vinification
The must receives a few hours of skin contact before gentle pressing. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel at 16°C for approximately three weeks.
Ageing
The wine remains on its fine lees in stainless steel for at least three months, followed by further maturation in bottle.
Tasting profile
Pale pink with onion-skin reflections. The fresh, balanced nose combines elderflower with red-fruit notes recalling pomegranate and orange. The palate is full-bodied, with pronounced minerality and savoriness.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 10°C. Available in 0.75 L bottles.
