Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in the province of Caltanissetta at an altitude of 400 m, on medium-textured clay soils.
Vinification
The 2017 harvest took place in late September. The grapes underwent eight days of skin maceration and fermentation in steel tanks at 25 °C, followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless-steel vats.
Ageing
The wine rested in bottle for three months in the winery’s cellars.
