Vineyard and terroir
The Nebbiolo comes from five vineyards in five Piedmont communes: Barolo, Verduno, Grinzane Cavour, La Morra and Novello. The name "Lecinquevigne" means "five vineyards". Each terroir contributes its own character to the final blend.
Vinification
Fermentation is temperature-controlled and lasts 15 days, which preserves Nebbiolo's delicate structure and expressive character.
Ageing
The wine ages for about 2 years in large oak casks, which adds complexity without overwhelming the aromas. It then rests in bottle for 14 months.
Tasting profile
A classic Barolo that combines power, character and elegance. Its character is rich yet smooth, and it becomes more interesting with time.
Label / history
