Tasting profile
Golden in colour, with aromas of fresh fruit, jasmine and freshly baked bread. The palate is light and refreshing, with natural balance and a silky, flavourful finish.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 12–14°C. Cellaring potential is 1–3 years. Suitable as an aperitif and with white meats, vegetables, fish, shellfish and molluscs. Suggested dishes include mushroom pizza, almond chicken, white-asparagus omelette, sea-bass carpaccio and sole meunière.
Label / history
Casa Defrà means Casa dei Fratelli Cielo, referring to the family's original farmhouse at the foot of the Colli Vicentini. The first family vineyard was planted there in 1908, and the winemaking project has continued across four generations.
