Vineyard and terroir
The fruit is grown in clay soils at a planting density of 3,300 vines per hectare.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in early September. The first 24–28 hours of vinification take place at 10 °C in refrigerated stainless-steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation lasts 10 days.
Ageing
After malolactic fermentation, the wine is bottled and aged for six months.
Label / history
The label depicts Pinocchio, the character from Carlo Collodi’s story of the same name.
