Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from three sites with distinct terroirs. Mosconi contributes juicy softness, Ginestra’s soils bring freshness, and San Pietro adds rich texture.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness and macerated on the skins for 10–14 days to extract colour and tannins while retaining freshness. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
Seventy per cent of the wine matures for 16 months in large oak casks, while the remaining 30% ages in barriques. This maturation adds depth and roundness.
Tasting profile
Juicy fruit and soft, rich texture are balanced by lively acidity. The wine has deep, intense colour, with depth and roundness from ageing.
Label / history
The name “Trevigne” derives from tre vigne, Italian for “three vineyards”, referring to Mosconi, Ginestra and San Pietro. The wine was first made in 1989.
