Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in vineyards in the Langhe. The oldest vines were planted in 1950 and the most recent in 2004.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand beginning on 15 September, followed by 5–7 days of skin maceration.
Ageing
The wine rests for 10 months in stainless-steel tanks.
Tasting profile
Soft and elegant, with pleasant fruit flavours, gentle, rounded tannins and a long finish.
Serving and pairing
Pairs with meat dishes, hard cheeses and traditional Piedmontese cuisine.
