Storia
2001
Donato D'Angelo's farming business began with the purchase of 20 ha of vineyards in Aglianico del Vulture, spread across the municipalities of Barile, Ripacandida, and Maschito.
Later
After more than 40 years in the family business, a company that studied the distinctive features of the region, Donato decided to bring his knowledge, skills, and experience directly to the winery.
Today
The company is run by Filomena Ruppi and her husband, Donato D'Angelo. It produces around 150,000 bottles a year and exports its wines to a range of European and non-EU countries.
Terroir
The 20 ha of vineyards lie in the Aglianico del Vulture area, across the municipalities of Barile, Ripacandida, and Maschito.
Vinificazione
Great care is given to the painstaking work of the growers before moving on to each stage of production, reflecting the approach of achieving the best possible results in the vineyard first.

Filosofia
The winery's approach is to make high-quality wines by first achieving the best possible results in the vineyard, with great care given to the painstaking work of the growers before moving on to each stage of production. Filomena Ruppi states: "Our goal is to be consistent in quality. To prove that, we are prepared to give up mediocre vintages—if a vintage is not convincing enough in terms of quality, we will not bottle it."
