Vineyard and terroir
The Langhe terroir has limestone and clay soils, which balance acidity and structure. The landscape is hilly with southern exposure, allowing the grapes to ripen fully. The continental climate, with warm days and cool nights, preserves aromatic purity and vibrancy. Langhe Nebbiolo comes from younger vines or from sites outside the strictly defined Barolo zones, giving a softer, more approachable style.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with a short maceration of 5–7 days. This brings out fruit and aroma and keeps the wine light and open even when young. Extraction is gentle.
Ageing
The wine is aged for about a year, with roughly 20% spending time in oak barrels. The oak adds texture and depth without hiding the grape's pure character.
Tasting profile
Graceful, juicy and elegant, with bright fruit, a fine structure and a fresh, almost weightless feel. Gentle extraction and fairly high acidity give a fluid, airy character, a silky texture and a clear focus on freshness. Sergio Molino calls it the "white" among his wines.
Serving and pairing
Described as lively, food-friendly and not too heavy, suited to spring and early autumn dinners.
