Vineyard and terroir
The production area is Ortona in the province of Chieti, Abruzzo.
Grapes
70% Malvasia and 30% Chardonnay.
Vinification
The grapes are pressed lightly to avoid extracting green tannins. Controlled-temperature fermentation includes 10–12 days of skin contact, with remontage every four hours.
Ageing
Ageing takes place in stainless-steel tanks.
Tasting profile
Straw yellow in colour. Medium-bodied, fresh and persistent, with balanced acidity and notes of banana and fig.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 10–12°C with seafood pasta, flans or baked fish.
