Vineyard and terroir
The Pinot Grigio comes from 14 hectares of Guyot-trained vines in Dogana Vecchia, within the municipality of Trivignano Udinese in the province of Udine. The Tor River formed the complex alluvial soil, which is composed of small pebbles, silt and clay. The 10-year-old vineyard is planted at 4,500 vines per hectare.
Grapes

Vinification
Harvest is carried out by hand into 10 kg crates during the first week of September. Fermentation takes place in steel vats.
Ageing
The wine remains on its own yeasts until the spring following harvest.
Tasting profile
Bright straw yellow with clear reflections. The complex aroma combines Williams pear, jasmine and vanilla with delicate notes of nutmeg and white pepper. The palate begins with soft elegance and fresh acidity accompanying exotic fruit, then develops vegetal nuances and finishes with a pleasant nutty sensation and good savouriness.
Serving and pairing
It can be served as an aperitif with raw mussels, shellfish and crustaceans. Other pairings include Venetian seafood dishes and fish or vegetable risottos.
