Terre Siciliane IGT. The first vintage is 2022, characterized as a structured red intended for longevity.
Tasting profile
Deep ruby red. Ripe cherry, blackberry and plum are joined by delicate spicy and balsamic notes. The palate is balanced, with present but soft tannins, good structure and a persistent finish.
Serving and pairing
Ideal with red meats, roasts, braised dishes, pasta with meat ragù and aged cheeses. Sicilian pairings include meat rolls, caponata and eggplant parmigiana.
Label / history
Fata Nascim is an ancient name of Arab-medieval origin connected to Niscemi’s place-name and legendary traditions, interpreted as “Fairy of the Wind” or “Fairy of the Gentle Breeze.” The wine was conceived as a gesture of solidarity with the community of Niscemi, with net sales proceeds intended to support local assistance and recovery. Its imagery of a renewing breeze expresses regeneration and a new beginning.
