Tasting profile
Garnet red in colour. The mature, complex bouquet combines ripe fruit, jam, fruit preserved in alcohol and oriental spices, with black pepper particularly evident. The palate is warm, mellow, persistent and well structured, with flavours recalling ripe grapes.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 16–20 °C. Pair with highly structured meat dishes, braised dishes, game and mature cheeses.
