Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from vineyards belonging to members of the cooperative within the Isola dei Nuraghi IGT area.
Grapes
A blend of Cannonau, Nieddu Mannu and Pascale. Blend percentages are not specified.
Vinification
Mixed native red grapes are destemmed and crushed. A brief period of skin contact extracts the desired colour, after which the must is softly pressed and clarified by static settling. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperature with selected yeasts.
Technical data
Alcohol: 12% vol.
Tasting profile
Soft cherry-pink in colour, shaped by the short skin maceration. Floral and fruity aromas recall small red berries. The palate combines soft, delicate tannins with a note of fresh, barely ripe fruit.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 8–10°C. Suitable as an aperitif and with starters, delicately flavoured meats or gourmet dishes.
Label / history
The name evokes the twilight—“inter lughes”—when the granite formations, wind-swept valleys, old cork trees and vineyards of Gallura take on pink tones. “Lughes” is presented as an image of time stretching between day and night.
