Grapes
Produced from white grapes, described as “Bacca Bianca”; individual varieties and proportions are not given.
Vinification
After harvest and destemming, the grapes are pressed. Natural settling clarifies the must, which is then cooled. Once primary fermentation is complete, the wine matures in vitrified cement vats until the second fermentation takes place by the Charmat method. A long stay in autoclave creates its fine bead.
Ageing
The base wine matures in vitrified cement vats before secondary fermentation and subsequently spends an extended period in autoclave.
Technical data
Alcohol: 11% vol.
Tasting profile
Straw yellow, with a spicy aroma recalling Mediterranean maquis. Freshness and tangy salinity shape the palate, balanced by a pleasant, soft perlage.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 6–8°C as an aperitif or alongside fish, shellfish and seafood.
Label / history
The name is connected with “Sa tanca ’e su Re”—the king’s land—portrayed as the finest land in the countryside and a place that bears excellent fruit through every season. The transparent new presentation frames the wine’s soft perlage with rays of light like a crown, while “TancaRè” is described as a Sardinian celebration.
