Vineyard and terroir

The vineyards lie in the Roero at an altitude of 280 metres, on slopes with different exposures. The vines were planted between 1981 and 1991; their age adds complexity and a distinctive floral character to the wine.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand in September and given a short cryomaceration to preserve their intense aromas.

Ageing

After fermentation the wine rests for 6 months in steel tanks, then a further 3 months in bottle. No oak barrels are used at any stage, which keeps the pure tropical notes of the Arneis grape and gives a soft mineral depth and structure.

Tasting profile

Vibrant fruit and refreshing freshness, with pure tropical notes and a distinctive floral character. Elegant, with soft mineral depth and structure, and ready to drink without a long wait.

Serving and pairing

Suited to serving as an aperitif.
