Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit is hand-picked from the estate’s vineyard in Barbaresco, at 235–315 m above sea level. The vines are 35 years old and grow mainly on limestone and clay soils, which preserve freshness and rounded fruit character while contributing mineral nuances.
Vinification
Fermentation lasts 30 days and uses natural yeasts.
Ageing
The wine matures for 18 months in Slavonian oak barrels that are at least five to six years old, followed by a further six months in bottle before release to develop its structure.
Tasting profile
Stylish and elegant, the wine is tightly wound and youthfully firm yet delicate and refined. It combines freshness and minerality with complexity and an easy-drinking character. Rich berry flavours and herbal aromas accompany a vivid, balanced and harmonious profile with complex aromatics.
Serving and pairing
Pair with meat dishes or fine cheeses.
