Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from a vineyard in Monteforte d’Alpone at 150–250 m above sea level. The volcanic soils contribute a distinct mineral character. The vines average 30–60 years old, with yields maintained at 70 hL/ha and planting density no higher than 3,500 vines/ha.
Vinification
Harvest runs from 15 September to 15 October. After gentle pressing, the juice ferments in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks at 16–18 °C.
Ageing
The wine matures in the same stainless-steel tanks used for fermentation.
Tasting profile
Balanced and approachable when young, with a clear mineral character. With time, the mineral notes become more pronounced, while the bouquet gains refinement and complexity.
Label / history
The wine was previously sold as Soave Classico. The estate introduced Soave Classico as its first brand in 1983.
