Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from vineyards in Mezzane and Tregnago, at an altitude of 450 m, with southeastern exposure. The soils are glacial, and the planting density is 7,000 vines per hectare.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in mid-October, destemmed and pressed, then macerated and fermented for 15 days in upright vats. Délestage follows, with further fermentation in oak vats.
Label / history
Annual production is limited to 5,000 bottles. The 2014 vintage won a bronze medal at the 2015 Decanter World Wine Awards.
