Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the estate’s own southwest-facing vineyards, at 350–400 metres above sea level on the western edge of the Chianti Classico zone.
Ageing
The wine matures for 24 months in French and American oak barrels, around 40% of which are new. It is bottled without filtration and then rests in the estate’s cellars for approximately three years.
Tasting profile
Vibrant and juicy, with a complex yet supple and highly refined character.
Label / history
Production is limited to a few thousand bottles.
